When I was on benefits I expected to be treated as less than nothing by the Glasgow council tax staff...such is the way they are trained...but now that I am an hotel maid cleaning sixteen rooms a day for the minimum wage and am struggling to pay my council tax...I am still treated with the same contemptuous abuse...Because I received two reminders I was immediately...without word or warning referred to the sheriffs office..Moreover even though I am in receipt of the minimum wage I am still being charged more council tax than my parents who both have private pensions...somebody has made a mistake with my council tax...but every time I try to speak to a member of staff..I am faced with some dismissive monosolibic idiot whose last job was doon the barras...YOU PEOPLE ARE CHARGING ME TOO MUCH COUNCIL TAX...learn to count.....
