Thanks to Fiona, my kids had a good ride and I enjoyed the country scene and the chat very much! Highly recommended. It was a great experience to see how horse shoes were hand mad.

My favourite place in the world. So wonderful. So peaceful and relaxing and friendly. My sister and I have learned so much here. We have fallen in love with the sweet horses. We hack and have lessons from Fiona and Nickolay. They are the best teachers ever. They look after us and teach us so much about riding and horse behaviour and looking after horses. You can stay here for as long as you like after being out and groom the horses and talk to everyone, feed them treats such as carrots and apples and horse nuggets, watch them eat dinner. The wildlife is wonderful, birds of prey, bunnies and deer. The views of the campsies are always beautiful. You can watch the horses in their fields and you'll also see Shetland Sheep and Highland Cattle. It's close to Murdock Park which is a wonder visit. It is also close to the West Highland Way. The hacks go through forest and for experienced riders you can ride to Murdock Park. The riding school is perfect for any age. There are ponies for small children and horses for taller children and adults. The horses are all well trained and sweet. If you have never ridden or inexperienced you will be taken on a gentle walk by lead rope where someone will walk beside you. You will be given a helmet to wear. There is a toilet. Max weight of rider is 14 stone. Bring appropriate outdoor clothing. Wear trousers and sensible footwear such as boots. It cost 22 for 1 hour and 30 for 1.5 hours. Beginer rides are short rides. There is a co-op shop 5 minutes walk away which contains a post office. Many visitors to the stables come from abroad including Norway and America and repeatedly return every year. To book call/ text Fiona.

Magnus has been riding here since he was 4 he loves Blue (the ancient wee white pony) has been the inspiration of mamy including Shawn (a professional jockey at London Newmarket) who started cleaning the boxes right here. Magnus had his first riding lessons on one of his nostalgic home visits with him, very inspirational. Ever since Fiona has lovingly guided him. We are so looking forward to out first post covid ride out. Thank you.
