Wow, what is there to be said, on arrival, staff were professional, compassionate and knowledgeable. The accommodation although basic is very clean and well cared for....Food is outstanding, Top chefs could not do anymore, just perfect. The therapists make this place what it is,m. Whatever you go there for you are looked after from beginning until the end. I cannot give the Priory any more praise 5 stars just does not quantify the profound experience I had in my time there.....The Priory Group should be proud to have a jewel in its crown that The Priory Glasgow definitely is...it was my privilege and honour to stay there and have such outstanding treatment....Well done to you all.

I made an appointment with Dr Holmes who on the surface appeared pleasant and had done her housework. However I felt she was protecting her colleagues in the nhs in her summation in her letter to my gp.

After being led down a 2 year stroll by a psychologist at the Edinburgh practice on Dundas street who undermined, underestimated and acted in unprofessional ways, i couldn't have been more desperate for the right help. The priory are specialists in the treatment of Eating Disorders. I could not fault both there expertise and understanding in the treatment of my ED. The combined dietetics and therapy approach is essential and the consultant is exceptional. I didn't look as to the stereotype but I struggled immensely with behaviors that were damaging my physical health. The dietitian was aware and has prevented a refeeding type syndrome by monitoring my intake, helping me to feel confident eating and the therapy although ongoing, is evidence based and primarily CBT- essential in managing the thoughts. I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone who is suffering.
