This company was recommended by a friend, i was looking for gates on communal land, the service was excellent. I was so happy with the outcome as I was unsure on design ideas. My neighbours and I had several quotes and went with S&F - best thing we done. I thoroughly recommend
S&F were recommended by a friend. I only intended to have a single piece of work done (a decorative fan to bridge a split level wall). I was so pleased with the work I ended up employing them on several projects. I found them to be creative and imaginative in suggesting solutions to general ideas of mine, with the end results pleasing and completed to the highest standards. Pricing was competitive, even although they were travelling from Glasgow (to Edinburgh). In a field where, for the average person, it’s hard to know where quality lies, I’m very pleased I went with them.
This guy is a crook and a thief. My wife asked him to give a quote last summer to refurbish and install new gates at the back of the house. He turned up, gave a quote, agreed to the work, then took a deposit for materials (ok, wasn’t too smart but he was supposed to be coming back to pick up the gates the following week) We’ve heard nothing from him since. He’s ignored all our phone calls, texts and now changed his number. Thankfully he gave us written proof of the quote and deposit. He’s getting a letter from a lawyer. Don’t touch with a barge pole!
Have to agree with Mr Benson Stephen came to premises and sized job up , asked for monies before starting and I stupidly transferred 140 for materials - then he disappeared with my money .dossnt answer phone or respond . my own fault but didn’t se it coming “ talk about sharp practice “
