Got given a voucher for a place we'd never tried and so glad we have now tried Ayubowan. Great combination of flavours, we tried chicken shish, wings and curry with veg sides(sweet potato bahjis, sweetcorn, aubergine), a really nice amount of heat and the staff were so friendly, we can't wait to order again and dine in when able to.

We tried here last night for the first time, we haven't eaten Sri Lankan food before. The lovely three young women serving were all friendly and helpful. There was one in particular that took the time to explain the dishes which helped us to choose and thoroughly enjoy our choices. I loved the atmosphere of the place and the food was tasty and freshly made. We now want to try the buffet that takes place on the last Sunday of the month. The lovely waitress explained it is alternated each time between the ordinary menu and a vegan menu. If you are on Facebook everything is explained on there. Can't wait to return and bring our family who I know will enjoy this fab place.
Absolutely gorgeous food!. . Me and my husband went for the first time Friday night 17th July. The staff where great. Friendly, attentive but not to much, Just right. . .the food was so nice . I had the calamari starter, which is always a risk of being chewy but it was gorgeous my husband had king prawn starter and that was so tasty too. I recommend the devil chicken curry, it was delicious. It was a very quiet evening and we was worried the food might not have been up to scratch but it was so good we have booked again for next Saturday . Can't wait!! Also the chicken and prawn rice is to die for!!!!
Wa really nice, made a change from "Indian" great service and really nice food. Planning on going again next week
Okay. Now I know that it's difficult times but service could have been better. A little slow etc. But the food was delicious and decent portion sizes. A bit more attention to the customers and less of the disappearance act may improve the star quantity.
Beautiful food but staff were slow to serve, served tables in the wrong order and forgot to bring our bill. We had poppadoms and a main meal and were there for over two hours because the service was so slow. I would eat here again because the food was lovely, but would expect more appropriate staffing levels and for staff to be more visible on the floor.
Excellent meal and wine. Reasonably priced. Covid safe. Friendly staff
