Goldfinch Furniture had previously designed and built us a large bespoke display unit in 2018. We commissioned our second piece of furniture from Goldfinch during the first CV19 lockdown. We were suddenly forced to work from home, but live in a warehouse style apartment so creating an office space is challenging and we were sick of using the dining table for everything! We collaborated with Fred to design a custom made writing desk. It is built in a hard wood (flamed beech), the desk surface has a great feel, especially with the resin infills. Every last detail is exquisite. The desk fits in perfectly in one corner of our living space and has transformed our home / office dilemma.

We’ve spent just over 3 years building our new family home and have gone to great lengths to make it unique, with spaces and design that flow throughout, as well as integrating with the local environment. High quality, authentic materials and bespoke design are really important components of this. We were delighted to find Goldfinch Furniture who worked with us to create bespoke installations throughout the home, that brought it all together and delivered on our aspirations - like a golden thread through the property. Furthermore their work ethic and approach has been exemplary, with a can do, fun approach, which when you’re building a whole house was like a breath of fresh air! My favourite bit has to be the island cladding which sets the whole kitchen off and ties it in with our floating oak staircase and feature oak front door. Just beautiful. Thank you Mike and all the team at Goldfinch!!

We bought a lovely coffee table from Goldfinch years ago. They were great to deal with – changed the design a bit for us and delivered it a week later. It's survived the years well, including two kids climbing all over it, but still looks as good as ever. Posting a review now as a few weeks ago I wanted some special wooden shelves in our new kitchen and Goldfinch sorted me out with some stunning shelving made from pippy oak (picture).

A relative recommended this company so I used them to make up a piece of furniture that I had designed for my new house. I sent in my drawing of a kitchen wall mounted storage unit and they realised my vision. I felt safe when the fitter came to fit the unit as he wore a face mask for the entire time. I was very pleased with the installation as the process was explained and thought was given as to the positioning of the piece so that the beauty of the wood was showcased. I am loving my first piece of bespoke furniture!
