Doctors don’t spend much time helping and leave you with a “maybe” explanation

Excellent caring staff and doctors who do their best to respond to the needs of a growing number of patients in Gorebridge. The available resources are limited but everyone works hard to provide the care that is needed. There is often a wait during open surgeries for appointments that haven't been scheduled while non-urgent appointments can take a few weeks. When I or any of my family has had anything wrong with them that was worrying or urgent the doctors have been brilliant at fitting us in or providing an emergency prescription. If you want to complain, try healthcare in the US!

Friendly staff and doctors let down by poor management and organisation. It is an exercise in frustration trying to book a simple nurse appointment a few weeks in advance. If you enjoy bashing your head against a brick wall numerous times and tearing your hair out (if you have any left that is) then this surgery comes highly recommended!

The local population has dramatically increased but there are only two GP surgeries in the area, inevitably this means shortage of appointments. The staff at Newbyres provide a great service often under difficult circumstances. My GP is excellent.

How anyone can give this place more than on star baffles me. Never answer the phone. 8 weeks for an appointment. When you do get one they are always running late!
