In this place Officers humiliate detainees Detainees just scared to talk... Immigration officers assaulting detainees . You don't have any rights to complaint , but if you do,your life will become a nightmare . I had a terrable expirience to be there . they kept me down the block . They were thretening me ,if I will complaint , i will never be released . I left this place on 21 march 2015 . I will never be the same agayn
I was there in 68 when it was a detention centre, did 2 months 2 weeks out of 3 months, after igot there the good behaviour remision time was extended top 1 month so lads who went in after me were leaving before me ! There was some really nasty screws there, one a big fat blonde piggy type & the worst of the lot a nasty piece of work called Payne or Pain who made my time there hell, he was pleasent enough to a large lad from a rich family who's dad visited him in a roller, used to laugh at his peurile jokes, one night when the night warder warder 6'2" came through the dorm & i started to sing the cowboy song rom the TV series Cheyanne, he had us all out of bed bunny hopping in the corridor til i owned up, after the other lads went back to bed Payne punched me to the floor & started to kick me & put me down the punishment block/cell. On my last night him & the welsh gym instructer said they would come to my leaving cell & beat me up, they then kept walking up to the door loudly & stopping, then walked on. He duffed me up once because my bed box of sheets & blankets were not up to his satisfaction ! wage was 2& 6 a week with twopenny fines from the govenor for any riddiculess reason. The penal system was terrible then, i was only 17, prior to there i was on remand at Ashford Midd'x where i was put on bread & water punishment for 3 days ! The Windsor police who took me to Hasler put me in the back of a small dog carrying van with a grille which was torture for me crouched in the back as i suffered from claustrophobia. Another time Payne had me picking weeds out of the football pitch when he told the other lads a lie that i was in there for a nasty offence & the lads rounded on me til he told them to back off & laughed about it. Whoever passed him mentally fit to be a prison officer made a grossly wrong decision. If i ever see him anywhere, well .
