The Alliance is presented in a wonderful state. You can get a result good idea of life on-board. Every single nook and cranny is filled with something to look at. There are volunteers on the sub that can tell you everything you need to know about life under the waves.

The HMS Alliance is definitely worth a visit! How often do you get a chance to go inside a submarine? It is very well kept for such an old vessel and after the walk around the submarine museum next door, this is something really special. The volunteers are really helpful and add their own flavour to the exhibit and make you feel welcome. The sounds, smells and interesting touches make this a superb exhibit.
It is a fascinating guided tour, conducted by staff who were part of submarines crew. The HMS alliance is in excellent shape and you can really understand what would be the life on such a confined place.
Amazing attraction. Very interesting to see a real submarine from inside. Well worth a visit! Staff on board are very informative and knowledgeable.
We went on the guided tour of HMS Alliance and was lucky as our tour guide was one of the original crew he was enthusiastic and made our tour informative. My wife is claustrophobic and managed to walk through the submarine without having to run out because everyone gave her a lot of space. Thank you I take my hat off to these submariners as I could not have done what they did. All in all we had a great visit
