Spent 8 nights at the Garden Chalet. Lovely place, the view from the patio/garden is amazing. If you have a car you can visit the Lake District and also lots of places nearby. Great for hiking, walking, visiting the historic villages of Cartmel and Arnside. There is a Spar 5 minutes away by foot, a Chinese take away and a great pie and butcher shop across the street from Spar. The chicken curry pie is the best. The owner Peter gave us a call to make sure we arrived and that everything is ok with our accommodation. The parking at the garage is a bit tight but if you don't mind climbing up and down a steep path there is plenty of parking space on Highfield road. We alternated the parking between the 2 places depending on our needs. It was a great holiday.

Yet another lovely stay at this studio apartment couldn't be better looked after fresh cake and bottle of wine on arrival and told to help yourself from vegetables that are growing fresh in the garden would highly recommend only downside was the weather but didn't stop us having a good holiday we will be back
