While waiting for my car to be finished, the Manager Nick chatter to me and was genuine, friendly, honest and kind. He was interested in me and i was in him. We passed 30 minutes in delightful conversation. The car was serviced professionally and, to my great surprise, cleaned inside and out. This is customer service as it should be.

Simple online booking service through website...price quoted is price paid...drop off quick and efficient and COVID safe...let’s you know when ready to pick up and items that need attention if you wish them to be carried out or booked in at a later date..pick up easy and work done explained...recommendations listed. All in all a very good job and no pressure to have addition work done unless it’s essential. Very impressed and will use again. Professional, efficient and pleasant staff..

Took wifes car for a convenient service and mot with halfords. Was told my battery was low! After the car starting ok at home and getting to the garage with no issue. No doubt the pandemic was causing issues with alot of batteries on customers cars as i was informed by the supervisor. What i found strange was the technician managed to start the car and left the car in the car park for pickup and leaving me not being able to start the car at all!!. After returning to get someone to help start my car they returned and bump started the car with a jump pack, thanks. All i can say is why the heck doesnt a large establishment like halfords have some kind of charging service during the 4 hours the car was at the garage and on asking how many times the car had been started he said 4-5 times (and this is on a low / cold battery) come on halfords this is crazy. The staff were great but the system is flaud, if i need a new battery after this i will be contacting head office directly.
