Left this school with zero confidence and a low self esteem. Teachers only care about grades and shame you in front of the whole class if you do not understand. Students are horrible and bullying often went unnoticed due to lack of pastoral care. Was constantly treated like a dog by the 'popular' girls. Grades are only good because the students are naturally smart, teaching is awful with no class control. Glad I left after y11.

if you go here your mental health will collapse completely- teachers care more about grades than the wellbeing of students. not enough done for support here and honestly wish id never gone. also applies to some of the teachers that seem on the verge of a breakdown lmao
Mostly good teaching however the staff at this school seem to care more about trivial things such as slight uniform issues than the actual development of students. For example, on non uniform days, there is quite frankly an extremely sexist dress code that requires students to cover up their bodies (even camisole tops are banned because of thin straps and shoulders) for risk of ‘distracting others’. To put it simply, if adult staff members are being distracted by underage students’ bodies, the issue lies with the people the school employs- any staff member that works in a situation where they are surrounded by children on a day to day basis should be able to teach without being concerned about the amount of skin a minor is showing. I have also witnessed multiple incidents where students have been taken out of lessons for small problems such as an extra piercing, a rolled skirt and slightly obvious make up, once again learning is more important than these matters. Lastly, the staff are often unnecessarily rude or unkind to students, some are even patronising and at times it seems like teachers are purposefully trying to make life hard for their students.
Fantastic school. Brilliant teachers, great facilities, smart uniform and amazing food. Students are polite and there is a great range of school clubs and trips in the UK and abroad. No better school for your girls aged 11 to 18.
In year 8 currently, but i love the school and all my teachers, e we have loads of opportunities to make us the next inspiring generation of tommorow
