A super FREE splash pad! Open daily from 10-4 between July and September. Great for children of all ages. It has a good range of sprayers and fountains. We spent around 2 hours here. On a warm summer day I imagine this will be packed! Take a wet suit/swimwear for kids and be prepared to get a little damp yourself!! It says no shoes, however my little boy wore his swim shoes and this helped as he kept coming out to speak to me!! The ONLY negative is that it is built on an already premade section of prom and as such there is limited access for pushchairs and prams. We carried ours down the steps - there is a ramp on the opposite side of the boating lake to the beach but it's a little stretch from there to the next ramp (it's on sand so super hard to push!!!) so be prepared for this or leaving it at the top on the main promenade!
