Awesome as usual. The grandkids absolutely loved it. So glad we got to do this after such a weird time. It's made things so much happier for us to attend a show at last. We're so glad you're open again. Well done to all the hippodrome staff and entertainers. Hugely entertaining.

The Hippodrome never fails to deliver, great all round family entertainment. The acts are always such a high level of quality and so varied. The shows always have fun & colour, great lighting and great music. The lead team of Jack Jay & Johnny Mac are an absolute composite old school (in the best way) professional team with faultless timing & writing. The building is a star too, as a venue if great historic interest - the oldest purpose-built circus venue in the UK, with its unique water feature pool. We absolutely love the Hippodrome and have enjoyed every single show we've seen, great value for money, & a fantastic local attraction.
Today was my first visit and it was brilliant! If you can fit in a visit before the Summer Spectacular ends on the 20th September, I highly recommend it! The entertainment was perfect for families of all ages. It's was a mix of harmless comedy and daring circus skills. I haven't enjoyed a show as much for a long time and I'm now looking forward to the Halloween SPOOKTACULAR (22nd Oct-1st Nov) and The Christmas Spectacular (5th Dec-10th January). When I booked an extra ticket by mistake, I was annoyed that I had to go. I can honestly say that it was the best mistake I've made since I thought having kids was a good idea!
We had a fantastic time, the entertainment was absolutely brilliant. A very safe place, social distancing. Well done to everyone involved. My grandchildren absolutely loved it. It was their first time. So happy.
Amazing show. Well worth the money not that they are expensive! We watched the summer spectacular. Laughs for all the family plus all of the acts are fantastic. The theatre has a long history ( I think it was started in the 50's) and has vintage posters and other artefacts to see. We will definitely be visiring again!
