The fitness/weight room has been updated with new equipment and air conditioning - very good gym now - a lick of paint to the fitness room has finished off the experience. Monday evenings are very busy. Just downgraded this review to a 1 star due to the fact at the smallest reason eg potential SNOW this leisure centre shuts its doors and goes on to say what a fantastic team it has even though with clear roads and no snow they close. I hope a refund is incoming for all the SNOW days it has been closed POOR POOR POOR

Will probably have been demolished by the time you read this. Unfortunately. Was built around 1979 and still looks modern but has had its day apparently. Does look a bit tired inside. I think they're going to build a replacement.

First time I visited this pool and not a great first impression. Qued for 10 mins to then be told that the pool won't be open till 7:30. The manager hadn't turned up. Disappointed

Still one of my favourite pools locally. Fun sessions include the inflatable, floats and slides plus the wave machine although it has broken down a few times lately - check beforehand if that's a deal-breaker for your visit. Water is always warm and the lifeguards aren't whistle-happy. If the sessions were two hours rather than an hour and a half, it would be 5 stars.

Pool always clean, water is nice temp. Toilets always stink of wee (very strongly). Website isn't always up to date with swim times. Staff should really stop arguing at reception though...

Parking can be expensive, so make sure you read the instructions for the parking meter to get 3 hours parking for 1. The swimming pool is as I remembered it as a child. On my visit the wave machine and slide were out of order, BUT they did reduce our admission fee and there were floats and a large inflatable obstacle course for the children. I was less keen on the communal changing rooms. The lifeguards were firm but consistent, and I appreciated that.

The pool here is lovely but the changing rooms are not nice, toilets smell of wee, showers are a bit grotty. Apparently the Marina is going to be pulled down and rebuilt and that would be the best bet.
