At the begining of the lockdown me and my girlfriend went ahead and placed a deposit for a few french windows to be installed with the total coming to a few grand and the deposit being 550. The project was promised to start around in October but it's nearly Christmas without hearing a word. I understand that the lockdown has affected manufacturers but it is baffling how I have to constantly call up to check on the progress. It's not like I'm calling up because the delivery driver of my idian is running late. I am about to write up for the refund with the 100 pounds to be deducted from my original deposit. All in all it's annoying that covid has affected the business in such a way but I will have to take my business elsewhere due to me having to constantly call up over a 3.5k investment on windows.
