My housemates and I have been on the Growing Communities veg scheme for a few years now and we absolutely LOVE it. It's so nice getting fresh, organic veggies every week and eating seasonally. Our diet has improved and it just feels good to be doing something sustainable!

I have been a member of the Growing Communities veg bag scheme for more than 5 years. I like eating seasonally - it means that my diet is always varied and I look forward to the changing seasons because each season brings a change of ingredients. Growing Communities veg bag scheme is better value than other schemes because there is no delivery costs, for me this is added convenience - I don't have to make sure that I am home at a certain time, but there is a lot of collection points so it is easy to pick up the bag from nearby at a convenient time. There is also very minimum packaging - most of the veg is mixed together in a re-used carrier bag (which can be returned to the scheme for more uses). The veg is mostly from local farmers and the weekly emails give information about which farm each vegetable is from - it makes me feel more connected with my food.

It’s such a good quality/quantity/value, and there is diversity as well in your weekly bags- whilst respecting seasonality and bringing local and organic products. Bonus point, the team is super reactive and friendly! I keep on recommending this to all my friends.
