Brilliant shop! A massive collection of music, including a lot of niche and interesting stuff that you'd have a hard time finding elsewhere. In addition to this, the owner is really friendly and helpful. I was looking for something very specific and he not only had it, but found it very quickly for me. I've been here a few times and will definitely continue to come back.

Put simply, Ben’s record shop in Guildford is a diamond of a store! I’ve been in there a few times (no doubt it will be more going forward) and every time I’ve popped in, the owner is nothing short of a joy to speak to! There always seems to be a fantastic stock of vinyls and CDs to choose from and Ben has always been readily on hand to help out! I went in previously looking for a particular album by Peter, Paul and Mary. On enquiring, Ben immediately set about looking and even though we couldn’t find anything there and then, I went back a few days later to find he’d located one and actually kept it aside thinking of me. Truly a fantastic shop in the right hands!

Been coming to Ben’s for at least twenty years and have always found something to buy at a very reasonable price. The shop is like Aladdin’s cave filled with records, CDs and DVDs. And Ben’s always cheerful with no attitude. For me a trip to Guildford to Ben’s is a fun day trip out of London.
