Alex made me feel relaxed and welcome as soon as I walked into his music room. I’m 50 and have started to try to learn ukulele, this was my first ever lesson. I came away feeling very positive with lots help and Alex sent me some videos of our lesson which helps me greatly. Had my second lesson and I can’t believe how quickly the lesson flies. when I feel I’m ready for my next lesson Alex has some drop in sessions that suit me perfectly. Makes learning fun and explains and demonstrates very well.

He is an expert player and can make tabs and backing tracks for any song in minutes. On top of his expertise, it’s his contagious enthusiasm for music that keeps you excited to play each day.

Alex is a complete revelation as a guitar teacher. His enthusiasm is infectious. He is genuinely interested in the student, and them learning the songs that they want. He is patient and considerate, but encouraging and challenging. In a short space of time, I have learned more than I could ever have imagined and I can’t wait to learn more, which is credit to Alex. I cannot recommend him highly enough, if you are looking for a guitar teacher; whatever your standard currently.

Alex is a great teacher, my daughter loves the lessons and Alex has really put her at ease. He is very patient and takes the time to explain and demonstrate clearly. He is extremely knowledgeable and makes the lessons fun, always picking music that my daughter likes which gives her a real purpose to learning the guitar. Highly recommended!
