I feel so incredibly lucky to be training at such a wonderful school. From the moment you walk through the door on your audition day you become part of the family and the family only grows from there and becomes more supportive, caring and encouraging. The staff and especially Louise and Costa go to extreme measures to make sure each and every student is happy and safe. I can't imagine finding anywhere better. I wish my last two years would slow down!!

I would like to completely counter the two previous reviewers by saying that, as a current student of PPA, I have never been happier. The training is second to none, we are in from 8am-5:30pm every single day working as hard as we can and receiving the most up to date, professional training in all aspects of the arts. The course is worth every penny. And as for our Principal/Pastoral care.... WELL, for starters my parents have been in contact with the college principal countless times to thank her for the smile on my face and new found confidence. She knows every single students name. Says hello and asks us how we are whenever she sees us. Pastorally, as part of the new degree all students have a mentor who we meet with 3 times a year to privately discuss how we are, where we are with our progress and what we might need from the college to help us. If you can name me any other drama school that does this I'll be amazed. I can honestly say this place is special. We are an absolute family. A family made up of some of the most talented people I've ever met. If anyone is of any doubt, please take a look at the PPA twitter feed (specifically it's mentions) to reassure you.

As a parent of not one but two daughters training here, I can honestly say, that I am very pleased that my girls chose to train here at PPA. Both of my girls started on the foundation course, over that first year I found them both to flourish and grow in confidence, thanks to the caring and nurturing of the faculty! My eldest is now entering her third and final year and youngest second. I have seen much improvement in all disciplines of MT and their confidence has grown term on term! This is thanks to the wealth of knowledge being passed onto them from a very professional team of teachers and industry professionals! Louise (principal) & Costa (vice principal) are extremely warm and approachable they only have the best interests of the students at heart! They push their students hard, in my mind, in the correct way, they want them to achieve and even exceed their potential!! They are preparing them for an industry which is really tough and only the best succeed. I also like the fact that if they are ready, they are put up for auditions through the schools agent, for pantomime! Fantastic to get a taste of what they are training for and in my mind makes them more hungry and determined to push themselves harder! In short, I am extremely happy with all aspects of the school, long may they continue! All this equals-one very happy mum

If you’re looking for training that will develop on who you are as a person and nurture your quirks then this is a place for you. The teachers are all so helpful and caring and the training pushes you to be better than what you think is your best. Incredible place with incredible talent all round!

5 stars is not enough! I owe so much to this amazing school and even more to the most wonderful principal. I have just finished my 3 years at the performance preparation academy and if I had the chance to do it all again I would in a heartbeat!
