This shop is just unsurpassed as to service, attention to customer needs, assistance and advice. I have bought several items here, including a Bernina sewing machine, a Pfaff sewing machine, and just this week a Bernina Overlocker. The two staff who run the shop are highly knowledgable, both delightful ladies who could not be more helpful, or courteous. It may say something that to go to this shop, I have a two hour round trip, worth every mile. Unfortunately it is somewhat rare to be able to write in these terms, but on this occasion it is a pleasure to do so! Sewmaster be sure to keep it going! I've dealt with this business at least 6 times over the past 10 years and have always found them to be very helpful and very knowledgeable about the products that they sell..... I'd recommend anyone to visit the shop for advice if thinking of buying a sewing machine
My mother who is a Sewing Mistress by trade and has been for the past 50 years recently brought her 500 Pfaff Machine back to Sewmaster under warranty as it was faulty, she was immediately accused by the woman in the shop of causing the fault with it before the machine was even looked at, she was told it was faulty due to user error, her actual words were \ well it's something that you've done\ after this was disputed she said it was faulty due to wear and tear which isn't covered under warranty. The customer service was appalling. on collection there was a mark on the case which was pointed out, the response from the same woman was that my mother had done it, during this discussion the woman serving my parents cut them off to take a phone call!! I'm disgusted with the rude attitude and lack of care my parents have received from these people from the start. I would never use this company's service again!
