It used to be a wonderful place especially at Christmas because they held a party for the local kids, I bet that's stopped. The local bobby would sometimes give us a clip round the ear if we were up to no good, those were the days. When I was older and driving around Guildford I was always getting stopped and told to hand in my doc's because I never carried them, I could probably claim harassment these days.

Surrey Police is essential ineffectual. They are so busy covering up for each other. They are largely incompetent and even the IPOC is not independent. Magistrates courts side with the police and Magistrates are the cheap arm of injustice. They get 5 weeks training if they even get that. They are cheap labour.

Your safety is their main concern. However small your problem is they always have time for you. I can't thank them enough for the number of times they help people out who are victims of hate crime.

In general, I've had a very poor experience with Surrey police. I've expressed my dissatisfaction to the IPCC and the sergeants at surrey police in relation to being a victim of police brutality and wrongly being given a dispersal order but unfortunately after having raised this concern via 101 for the 5th time I'm still not satisfied with the final outcome. As a result I've had to speak to citizens advice because I can't afford to pay out for a solicitor.
