AVOID. Absolute bunch of half wits. Booked them to measure up and quote. Messaged us to say they were on the way the they vanished. Messaged the following afternoon to apologise but the person coming to measure got lost. Said would be later that day, again. Next day messaged to say that it was to far to come. So wasted our time for two weeks when it was freezing cold and we needed to sort out carpets. Went to Carpet right. The man measured up the following day. Got the same carpet at 10sq m cheaper as well. Don’t waste your time.

Helpful in store but during installation the fitter caused damage to our newly decorated walls, stairs and skirtings despite several requests to be careful. Customer service claim the cracking along the length of our stairs only visible after the fitter had left was not down to him. I will not use Tapi again... their competitors offer free fitting and, from previous experience, they do not damage your property!

Very mixed experience at this store today. Their sales rep was in the middle of speaking to me about some carpet options when another, ill-mannered customer (whom the sales rep had previously been advising) rudely interrupted us to announce that he was ready to order. Seeing a better offer (each individual is commission-based here), the 'customer service' representative turned on his heel mid-conversation and headed with said customer for his till. I later gave him feedback, which he sneered at, until I mentioned that I would be leaving feedback, at which point he duly apologised. As I was in a rush, I ordered the carpet with a different sales rep (professional and polite, thankfully). I very nearly went to Carpet Right though. Time to brush up on your customer service training, Tapi - you aren't the only carpet seller in Guildford.
