Having tried other guitar teachers, without much success, I had one final try with Andy at Ipswich Guitar Teacher. That was over 6 months ago and I am now playing better than I have played and have found new enthusiasm for learning. This is a testament to Andy, he's a fantastic teacher and very talented - I can highly recommend him.

My 10 year old son wanted to learn guitar so I searched for a local guitar tutor. Andy came up top of the search ratings. I made contact with him and had a very quick, courteous reply. A few months on and Jack is really enjoying each lesson. Not only that, he can play the guitar! It's enjoyable to hear progress from each lesson he has. Keep up the great work Andy!
I got given guitar lessons with Andy as a present for my birthday. It was something I'd always planned to do when I retired but my wife got me these. With Andy coming to my home at my convenience it fits in with my work perfectly and now I'll be playing the guitar when I retire in a few years instead of learning. The best thing I have done and Andy is such a great guy and teacher I wish I had done it many years ago.

Being a complete novice I was not expecting much from myself until multiple lessons with Andy. I have to say I am extremely impressed with his teaching technique and skill on both electric and acoustic guitar. I've only had three lessons so far but will be booking more, would highly recommend Andy to anybody who is thinking of taking up the guitar.
I have been learning electric & acoustic guitar with Andy for the past 12 months and he's great! I wanted to learn in order to help me start a rock band. Not only is Andy a great teacher, he has also helped me with forming my band and really boosted my confidence. I would recommend Andy to anyone, young or old, if they want to learn guitar and really enjoy music. I have also learnt a great deal about the theory of music, which is now helping us with the band. I have been going here, for the past few months and have found Andrew a good teacher and has load of Patience he also teaches lots of different styles of music and has good solid theory of music I can highly recommend him.
Andy has been teaching me acoustic guitar for the past six months. Having played guitar many years ago I decided to give it another try, but with some trepidation being that bit older now. I have to say that I could not be happier with my lessons that Andy has provided and he has completely revitalised my interest in music and playing. His guitar lessons are extremely well structured, his patience is amazing and his skills as a teacher and guitarist are second to none as far as I'm concerned. I cannot rate Andy highly enough and I have recommended him to my friends. If you want to learn to play the guitar I would look no further. Thanks Andy and keep up the good work. Penny
