Jim is a fantastic teacher with decades of experience in the music business. Whether you want to learn acoustic or electric, fingerstyle or slide, Jim is your man. I have been taking lessons from Jim for about a year and am extremely pleased with my progress. He seamlessly integrates music theory into lessons in a way that keeps you engaged. I have picked up and put down the guitar many times over the years, never making great progress. In a year with Jim I can seamlessly change between chords, play with a pick and fingerstyle, play whole songs, and bar chords. I would recommend Jim to anyone who is serious about learning the guitar!

Jim is such an excellent instructor. He is super passionate about music and teaching. This shows continually with the amount of patience he has. I have been taking my 10 year old son for regular lessons and he has learned soo much, plus his confidence has really grown. We are very excited to see how much he has learned with such a wonderful instructor. Thank you Jim you really are the best around!
