Similar to some of the comments below. Okay product shocking customer service. Processes seem to be stuck in the last decade. A string of errors with no apologies. On my first order I added an item to the order and they charged me for everything again. When I called to ask for a refund I was told I would have to wait until the following week when the accounts person was in. The order turned up and did not reflect what was ordered and invoiced. I was then sent the invoice which had no stamp so I was charged 3 by royal mail. Again no apology for their incompetence or cost. Second order; after giving my credit cards details over the phone I was asked to repeat them again so they could to see if they had \written\ them down correctly. On asking them if they were PCI compliant I was laughed at. I think the laugh was more because they had no concept of PCI compliance. I'd steer clear of Guttercrest if I was starting again.

I have recently purchased some aluminium guttering, Down pipes and fascia from Guttercrest. I am overwhelmed with the finish of these products. They have complemented my property perfectly. The service was exceptional considering I originally placed my order incorrectly. The employees did a wonderful job of picking up on my errors and corrected them promptly. They kept me well informed on deliveries and the despite the fact I had to change my delivery address twice they were very accommodating. I would recommend this company whole heartedly. The product was worth the wait. It took approximately 4 weeks from quotation to delivery. They do need chasing but always came back to me with answers promptly and kept me well informed and I would definitely recommend them to others.

In agreement with other reviews Guttercrest should be avoided. Appalling customer service and generally disorganised. I placed 3 orders and not one was delivered correctly, no apology or response. The inability to deliver the orders delayed one project and left me with a load of unusable guttercrest products on the other project (an alternative product was found and the scaffold dropped before Guttercrest finally delivered). I strongly recommend you go elsewhere if at all possible- companies with an ethos like this shouldn’t be trading.

MY ADVICE IS BE VERY CAREFUL WITH Guttercrest. I'm a property developer and we chose Guttercrest for our dream home project which is an Old Mill restoration with its associated buildings which is a mix of traditional and contemporary. The products are nice and as expected but the service has not been at all and Guttercrest take virtually no responsibility nor help you once the product has left them. We had a few problems, one with leaking gutters even though installation was carried out exactly as per the provided installation illustrations. We are now going to have to remove and reinstall this. Guttercrest ignored our communication and we were surprised to still be ignored when we escalated it to Ben Power who is a director! We had problems with a delivery being wrong also which delayed us being able to install the products by sometime. Unfortunately when we did come to install we found some items damaged and sent Guttercrest images of the damage while still in packaging. Due to the delivery problem and delay to us we hadn't checked these until installation so Guttercrest have stuck rigidly to their T&C's and said it was reported too late and therefore must be site damage. They would not take into account the fact that if delivery was as it should have been these would have been installed and checked much sooner. I take on board we should have checked them sooner but given the circumstances and low cost of replacing these I would have expected some service. In summary, nice product but a company who clearly do not focus on customer service, a company you'll ALWAYS have to keep chasing (apart from sales) if you have a problem as they will ignore you and a company who will take a very hard, profit driven approach no matter of the circumstances. If we were doing this again I would definitely choose an alternative supplier.
