Did a 4-hour evening trip with 4 adults and 2 children (9&11yrs) and we all really enjoyed it. Trad was a really nice guy and very helpful and we caught plenty of fish including 2 amazing Undulate Rays. Set sail right on time, all the gear and bait was provided and we were catching fish not long after the anchor was dropped. Very knowledgeable skipper and definitely recommended, we would book again if we’re down that way.

Had a great time on this fishing trip. 3 of us wanted a great day out and to catch a variety of fish even though we had no experience and that’s exactly what we got. The skipper was very friendly and was able to offer advice and tips. Highly recommended.
A great day out and well looked after. This was my first boat fishing trip and Trad the captain made sure me and the guys I went with were not left struggling. The price is very reasonable and for 50 all in it meant we didn't need anything but our lunch. Teas and coffees made for us while we fished too. We were also lucky enough to catch all day, not a single bad thing to say about the whole trip.
Excellent. We have done a full day and a half day trip. Both were brilliant. Groups of very different people and abilities. We first went with our grown up children (20 & 23) as a family trip. All caught something to be proud of. They really enjoyed the half day but we decided to go for a full day and were lucky to get a trip the following weekend. Trad the skipper was really encouraging and everyone enjoyed themselves. Thoroughly recommended.
We have been 2 years in a row. Amazing fishing trip good fun had a laugh. Skipper Trad very professional and friendly and helpful. We caught dog fish and red gunards and the odd cheeky spider crab. The year before I think we caught mackerel and a ling and sea bass. Fully recommended you will enjoy your self evan if you don't catch. It's a must if visiting Weymouth:)
I've been out many many times on Gypsy and then Gypsy 2 and can honestly say that it's been fantastic. Trad runs trips for experienced anglers and also for beginners and was fantastic when I took my son out for his first fishing trip. Nothing was too much trouble and my lad was well catered for in all safety aspects of being at sea. I would highly recommend anyone, from experienced anglers to first timers, wishing to go fishing to use Gypsy boat fishing. Great boat, well informed experienced skipper and crew. Five stars
We had a superb time. 9 guests on boat plenty of room. We all caught at least a few fish each. Some we took to eat some we returned to the sea or seagulls got. I all had a very enjoyable and educational time. Great way to spend an afternoon and really good value for money. Many thanks.
My 14 year old and I had never fished before and we had a really great time. As absolute beginners Trad was very patient, as well as knowledgeable. We cooked some of what we caught back at the campsite. We enjoyed it so much, so we went again 2 days later!
