Wonderful place to see WWII contributions from the American airmen who flew out of this field. Some of the volunteers grew up here and can give you first hand accounts of those days.

Really good local volunteer run museum. Great information about the people involved in the airfield and key events
Very interesting exhibits and knowledgeable, friendly volunteers to welcome you and offer help and information.
This is an excellent small museum documenting and recording the wartime airfield at Halesworth in Suffolk both in terms of the hardware and the people based there. Worth a visit if you are passing or have a special interest in the site and its operation.
Fantastic Museum run by very friendly volunteers
This museum is located on what was once an American airfield during WWII. Now, what remains of the runways is taken up by industrial poultry farming, so getting past the smell is the first challenge when visiting this museum. It does contain a lot of great information on the local US bomber group that was stationed at Holton and is staffed by some great volunteers.
Great little museum, packed full of interesting memorabilia
Nice place to spend a few hours
