Been using Stitch Express for years. Friendly staff and do a good job for a fare price. They’ve been missed due to the COVID-19 shutdown. Thankfully now open.
These lovely ladies replaced a zip on my favourite jacket that I thought was a lost cause. Quickly repaired, inexpensive and great customer service. Will definitely return for any repairs I may need.
I happened to nip in at lunchtime as I had bought a coat from Sainsburys. Loved the coat, but the zip wanted to part company with it. Anyway it was a big chunky affair and not the easiest to get a new glider fitted. So the lovely shop owner said she'd give it a go and if it doesn't work, there is nothing lost and wouldn't charge me. I returned just 15 mins later and it was all fixed up as good as new So I'd definitely recommend taking your business there
Horrible customer service. Firstly asked them if they could reinforce a zip and had a pop at my mums weight. Second time they refused to take up my mother's dress as the lace was dragging on the floor to which they replied "no it'll look awful"
Not happy at all. Went in for a dress to be taken up asked for it to be KNEE length and its literally so far away from my knee that i cannot wear it. Cant take the dress back either so im left with a dress i cannot wear :) she pinned it at my knee and then obviously decided to take a good couple more inches off. Not happy at all will never reccomend to anyone and will not use again. Make sure your extremly clear if you take anything here as they obviously do what they want. Women who serves me was quite rude too very blunt.
What a fantastic shop. Took a pair of trousers in this morning and the lovely lady was so helpful and she altered them within the hour. Highly recommend them
