So much to see and buy, healthfood, haberdashery, curtains, wool, also a lovely knitting group on Thursday afternoons and Saturday mornings. The staff are very helpful and chattie, last but not least the very good alterations and mending service they offer.

Town Living is a really great shop that has so much to offer a small town like Harleston. My wife uses the shop all the time for alterations to clothes but they also have a food section and sell loads of stuff for making clothes, like wool, threads and buttons etc... Like I know about all that! This is really Susanne's review. Anyway they are really helpful and it's a great shop.

On arrival, the shop looked very interesting and wellstocked. The little spaniel dog belong to the owner is well mannered but friendly. The lady serving seemed unwelcoming however, nor selective in customers she's friendly to. I asked for 3 items of clothing to be altered two pairs of trousers and a top. She sounded hurried in listening to my request and I had to ask for an invoice, which did not have the price this Sarah had quoted me on. I had to call to confirm collection to save driving and they not being ready. On collection, however, the price shed verbally given me had shot up, and no bother to confirm if it was ok to about the price increase. Also, she was not apologetic about it and just about said thank you. Ok to get the odd item from, but local shops Should do more to earn business. I would be happy to go to the dry leaner for the same things done and better service.
