Fantastic place, everyone is so kind to the animals. Vets are excellent and work so hard. So grateful I found this place.

Caught a stray cat in a trap whom had a broken leg came to me for food every morning since Feb last year. RSPCA came yesterday to collect. Rang this morning to get an update and a rude receptionist said \as the cat does not belong to me I can't give an update\?&%! WTF ... if it wasn't for me that cat would still be roaming the streets with, I might add a hind broken leg. Is she telling me that General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is for animals too? I'm so upset I have been feeding this stray for over a year to gain his trust, he went missing 13 days ago and for the last 5 days after he returned with a hind broken leg I have been checking the trap everyday. Surely I am entitled to know of his being at the very least? I'm not done yet .......rude person i will be calling back every hour of every day until you give me the information on Felix

Someone please tell me how the receptionist staff have even managed to secure a job in this place! who employs these people? surely the main most importance task of their job is to answer the phones? why are they not doing so?! i had rang in all day non-stop yesterday from am to pm with no answer!! this morning whilst i was at work myself i manged to get through where a very rude male receptionist answered. My dogs medication had ran out now being 2 days ago i had asked to get that prescribed ,as the male receptionist was taking a while getting my dogs records together i had my work colleague ask me a question so i responded and having done so the male receptionist on the phone shouted at me stating how rude i was for doing so and was not willing to help and wouldn't let me get a word in! as a result ended up putting the phone down? how is this even acceptable? I'm a receptionist myself and there is not a point in the day where i wouldn't answer the phones or deal with enquirers accordingly. You guys need to take a look at who your employing, such a shame you have people like that representing your organisation. On a plus side the actual vets are fantastic. Its just the admin team who let it down.

Don't help people in trouble. Their acceptance criteria have been really restricted. I've been going they're for years for treatment for my cats. Last year, I desperately needed them, my cat was in a lot of distress, she needed help. I got told from reception I didn't quality for help as I wasn't on the required benefits any more, I used to get help when on WTC, which I was at the time, I was told to find a private vet which I couldn't afford, I only worked part time then due to my disability My beautiful little girl died in my arms. To me, that was a cruel act from the RSPCA and life was lost high could have been saved.
