This is a love little place.. Beautifully maintained. Great for walks, jogging, picnics and cycling.. Also gives the little minds to have great adventure... A nice play area with swings, seesaws etc. And wonderful whatever the time or day... Or even weather.

WOW. This place is just beautiful. The springs gushing forth and the greenery is just so relaxing and mesmerising. We had a lovely time here, admiring the views and even stepping in the waters. One side it’s cold and the other side it was warm! Ideal for adults and older kids, we saw lots of birds and along the back there was a field with horses. Lovely and clean and ideal for a family visit, there is a play area for kids too and lots of field for picnics.

It's nice enough, although there isn't really much there. Took the kids here today and we hoped for a nice long walk, but sadly there isn't really much to talk about. It may be a lot nicer in summer for the kids to have a dip in the springs, but essentially it's a very short and muddy walk round a very short walkway, literally off the main road, so you never feel immersed in nature. Barton Springs, around 20 mins from here, in comparison is immensely huge with hills, valleys, springs and much much more.

Lovely place. There is a NEW part opened up now from may 2019, the meadows with a nice long walk along the river with stunning views. Very well kept, the river is beautiful. The thing i noticed about this is the further on your walk around this place the better it becomes. Nice seating area for a picnic and big grass area to enjoy. Hidden places as you walk through, the river winds of into the bushes. The main feature of Batford springs is the stepping stones and enjoying the walk across them, i enjoyed this myself, The water was high and almost touched the top of the stones. The water sounded so lovely gushing down stream, it moves fast. A great place to visit for anyone of any age. I highly recommend this place.

Nice little reserve, park for kids, areas for dog walking and close to avoid railway line to walk along.
