The customer service here is absolutely horrific. My boyfriend and I planned to pick up food here to have as part of our valentines experience and we were very disappointed. I called to preorder the day before and was told to call the next day to place my order, no problem. I called these people exactly 102 times between 6:30 - 8 to place my order. The phone kept ringing off and sometimes it said that the line was busy. I didn’t think anything of it but upon reaching there come to find 2 other groups in the same predicament. The excuse the restaurant gave was that they weren’t taking any more orders. If you aren’t taking any more orders then pick up the phone and say that. They heard the phone ring and blatantly ignored it. I wasted my time to come out there.

My partner loves seafood, so this was heaven for her. We ordered recently 2 x lobsters, a portion of soft crab, some mussels and the cajun fries. It was decent. My partner loved it. Only thing they forgot to give us was our drinks. We ordered a Coke and Sprite, they forgot to pack it.

The fat crab is definitely a bucket list restaurant. If you are in to your sea food you will know a restaurant like this is hard to find! Great food and service from a tiny local restaurant. Booking in advance i would advise and strongly recommend.

Visited The Fat Crab in Harrow this evening for the first time. Where do I begin, the food was everything I imagined it to be and beyond. The lobster cooked perfectly, the crab cooked perfectly, the juicy kind prawns cooked to perfection and the corn was perfect. The seasoning of the sauce was superb, only one issue I had was they ran out of chilli sauce and I usually like my food fiery hot. We also got Cajun fries, one side is enough for two people to share. Slightly on the salty side but the flavours balanced whilst eating it with the seafood. Would definitely recommend. Thank you for a lovely evening today. Can’t wait to visit again.
