This is the worst hospital i have ever attended. Receptionist are rude. GP are not proactive they do nothing even when you get a negative result they don’t call to tell you rather they send their receptionist. It’s the worst hospital ever and it’s a shame because even in developing countries , hospital with low facilities do better than lister.

The lady with the blonde hair who has the fringe and tattoos is so rude. She has no manners And has a bad attitude. To be honest there customer service there is not great at all it’s a shame
As a heavily preganant lady seeing midwives at this surgery, you’d think they would understand you may need to use the bathroom? Well according to them this does not matter. Under no circumstances will you be allowed to use the toilet. They would rather you arrive late to your appointment and go to a public toilet. How they can refuse use of a toilet to anyone, let alone a heavily pregnant woman is beyond me! DISGUTING! Poor manners from receptionists. Terrible first impression. Have been trying to make a midwife appointment for over a week and have been waiting in phone queues for 30 minutes and when you get the the front of the queue the line hangs up on. ABSOLUTLEY appalling!
Just not a great service. They waste a lot of your time. Even a simple signature from a midwife takes two weeks. Also
I have been a patient at this surgery for 32 years and received excellent care throughout. As a Carer for both my Mother and my sister, both of whom were experiencing severe health issues towards the end of their lives; I had invaluable assistance from the practice as a whole. I couldn’t write this review without specifically mentioning Dr McDowell who has gone above and beyond. She is held in high regard by my whole family not just myself . I don’t recognize some of the more negative reviews describing Lister House as it’s far from anything I’ve received in terms of care over many years.
