A superb outdoor heated swimming pool set in the heart of the Peaks. We were lucky enough to visit as England slowly eased its way out of lockdown. It’s got sessions for members and public sessions available to book on its website, although be quick as they sell fast! The pool has a few free parking spaces out front and a paid car park and train station nearby for access. We found the pool to be clean, the outdoor changing cubicles are fine and there’s 2 open showers on site if you fancy a rinse. We visited on a day it had snowed in the morning and yes, it was a bit chilly getting your kit off (!)... but once in the pool you hardly notice. Swimmers were polite and respectful and the staff very friendly. It was a lovely day out!

Great to be exercise in the fresh air in stunning picturesque surroundings. All this while swimming in the 28 degree heated water. There is a great atmosphere with friendly & helpful staff. Always feel refreshed when I've been here. Definitely recommend visiting.

Great place for a swim. lovely staff. cafe downstairs for teas/coffees and cakes , bacon butty or breakfast. Also available for private hire. Highly recommended.

Fab pool, good temperature, enjoyable experience. Marked down slightly as booked a family friendly session, thinking it was just a family session, however part of the pool was laned off, other swimmers laning in the other part of the pool, amongst families playing. All a bit chaotic, making it slightly less enjoyable .

Without question the most archaic booking system I have tried to use in years. The website is terrible and so user unfriendly. Absolutely ridiculous set up.
