Having been with Spire for over 15 years, my recent visits have completely destroyed any positive experiences with this hospital. The consultants behave as if they were the only ones in their field; they also seem to be lacking most important skill for a medical professional, which is compassion and understanding of patient issues, ability to not only listen to the patient but to hear what the patient is saying, instead they seem curt and uninterested in providing explanations or exploring other options, the only route they seem to take is the route of the least resistance. The above is just a tip of the iceberg, there were so many negligences throughout consultations and treatment processes that it is simply shocking as to how easily a medical professional can do it and then not take responsibility for it whilst completely ignoring the issues. The reason I am posting here as Spire has ignored my comments and facts put forward, so there is no point in writing to them any further. Such a shame that it had to come to this.

I had a hip replacement here last November, wonderful care. Hip is great, l could barely walk before the op. Thankyou Mr Clark.
Had an urological procedure, but now regretting as symptoms are worse, the reason for low rating is because I wasn't warned about complications or side effects. I think consultants have a duty to be honest and upfront and inform us about the likely outcome as they know what and how the ops work. I was perhaps optimistic and not realistic, in which case the consultant Mr Solomon needed to explain this could make it worse and refuse to carry out the procedure.
For my mother it's been stressful enough to get any doctor to get any type of surgery done even talk about it is great. Spire is absolutely the most upstanding hospital that I have been in and that's from they reception and all the staff are very friendly and helpful cared for the patient who was scared. But mostly i thought 100% professional in the job because mum was ready for surgery and she had just started medicine for pain they found Heary problem and she was not able to have the surgery done. So gratefully to the hospital And hospital should all like this bit it's not a ]perfect world x
Amazing private hospital. Highly recommended. Jessica the nurse was simply amazing, such fantastic care and Dr Aspinall was incredible too! Thank you very much for the outstanding support and care given. !
