I joined about a month ago after visiting with a friend and we both joined up as members after a lesson with Chris. It was my first time shooting shotguns (lots of time spent on ranges with air rifles) and Chris is an amazing instructor who really know his stuff. After 3 lessons Chris felt I was ready for my safety assessment which I passed and can now shoot by myself. I have been going at least twice a week for the last 4 weeks. After shooting on my own for a bit I had another lesson with Chris who perfected my technique even further. The staff are really friendly and always happy to help out especially with a newbie. The other shooters there are also really friendly. The food is really good too. Prices are really competitive.

This is the best clay club anywhere near london or the thames valley area. I've been a member for a few years and my shooting has improved massively since I've started shooting there. For one thing is is a *real* club -- you get to meet everyone, shoot with pretty much everyone, get to know how they do, see what they do best and improve by emulating the people who do it best -- and there are many, many *excellent* shots there, some of them past and current World Champions, gents AND ladies. This is also the only place I know that has permanent (and very challenging) FITASC setups all year long (as well as Skeet and Compak/Sportrap). I could go on and on about this place, but if you get a chance, go and visit, it is pretty much unique, and it's pricing is also unique, it's a LOT cheaper than anywhere else within 200 miles!
Friendliness and helpfulness of staff and customers alike. Good food at reasonable prices altogether a good day out.
Been here once it is expensive but worth it
