I'd recently had an okay, but not amazing experience with a large Exotic Pet speciaist in Dorset. Some of the information provided at this other store was inaccurate, and resulted in me deciding to make changes to my juvenile Bearded Dragon vivarium, substrate, and entire living environment, lifestyle. These never going to be cheap changes, but I'm okay with that as I want to give my dragon the best life, and I am so glad I chose to make these changes here where I trust they will be carried out well and at one of the best prices I could find. Ameyzoo is a small, humble store but I'll be returning for all reptile needs whilst living in the area. The staff were excellent at phoning and keeping me updated whilst building the new viv, and asked many questions to ensure it was set up just right! Very friendly and attentive. Alan (my dragon) has adapted to his new setup quickly; he was a friendly, loving dragon from the first day but has a new lease of life with his current setup. He loves exploring and and roaming around. I love seeing him so happy, and am very glad to live a short drive away from Ameyzoo. Excellent, well priced stock and I'm so happy to hear of the other services they provide. I'll definitely be back and look forward to my next visit. Adore their animals, you can tell they are well looked after and the staff are lovers of exotic pets. I adore their beautiful pet monitor too; make sure to say hello!
We got this cheeky guy from Ameyzoo in June 2018. Such a lovely pet with lots of personality. Ameyzoo gave us lots of advice on his care and feeding. Staff are always friendly when I go in for supplies. Highly recommended.
A brilliant store for reptiles, frogs and other exotics. Supply of live food and lighting too. Very knowledgeable staff.
