Good for kids
Beautiful place very peaceful, but not at weekends, when it can be very busy. My only complaint is that there are no bins for rubbish or dog waste. Some people leave dog waste bags lying on the ground not good at all.

Great and really quite, unspoilt and a natural woodland, quite challenging to walk but rewarded with beautiful surroundings
Free parking and the woods are a great place to go for a walk
Lovely pleasant woodlands lots of different paths to follow. Didn't see anyone.
Excellent walking not too strenuous, just right for kids (of all ages) . Lots to learn about the ancient settlers and defenders with information boards around the walks. Get to the top where there is a picnic area with amazing views. Keep track of where you are though it's easy to get disorientated on the many paths. Would of got 5 stars but for the dog mess everywhere.
