Had such fun spending the day at the studio hand-building and having a first go at throwing. Highly recommend to anyone and also great sandwiches and cake!

I attended CUP's one day course.... my only gripe is I had to leave!! : ) Wonderful studio and cafe. Warm friendly people. The course was thoughtfully put together and taught. It was the perfect intro to pottery with slab work and then also let loose on the wheels. A delicious lunch too... Catered very thoughtfully to me being gluten free too with one of the best cakes I have ever had, shame i didnt take a photo!! Many thanks to Pat and Col for such a wonderful day. I hope to be back!

What great day out. My wife bought me a day course as a present for my birthday so it was a surprise and a very pleasant one. It's something I have always wanted to have a go at and i'm really pleased I have now had a go at spinning clay and hand moulding something other than plasticine or Fimo and playdough. Would I go back? Most definitely! I'd like to try again and get more confidence and ability in making stuff that doesn't look like it was run over - or a mouse's head sticking out of a pie..... I am looking forward to seeing what the end results look like once my attempts have been fired....fingers crossed it all comes out in one piece... And then a month later all in its glazed glory! Dead Chuffed - also, it's my 9th wedding anniversary next week - the traditional gift for the 9th? - Pottery!! Lol - Pick a bowl darling....X

My daughter arranged a pottery taster course for my birthday. Pat was very welcoming and instantly put you at ease. The course was enjoyable and a lot of fun. We made two types of pots, one purely using thumbs and a variety of natural implements such as fir cones etc to make patterns on the finished pot. The other was a thrown pot on the wheel. That was an experience in itself Pat was very patient and gave constant encouragement, even when things didn't go exactly as it should with the pot I was making. I would highly recommend the experience wanting to try something new. Go and try it for yourself.

I bought one of their home kits and it was incredible. The kit had everything we needed and the tips were super helpful! The staff were wonderful too. 5/5

I have attended the taster and the one day intensive, both were great fun and I have met some lovely people Pat is a super tutor and it's surprising what is achievable in a short space of time. It's a great space to be in and the lunch, coffee and cake were all delicious, I will definitely be back and can highly recommend the whole experience.

Absolutely a most enjoyable day. Having never done any pottery before and i was feeling a little apprehensive when i arrived with my BF(F) but was very quickly put at ease in a nice welcoming and friendly environment. If i didn't live so far away (West Sussex)i would be back for a full course! Thank you x
