A really nice and unpretentious place to eat, recently refurbed, offering great tasting food at really good prices. They offer a delicious carvery on a Sunday for 10, and a great value and fab tasting menu at other times including delicious 2 for 1 options. Tonight we had two lovely meals for 10, which was brilliant value. The gammon slice was so tasty and big in size, with home cooked style chips, two fried eggs and peas, working out at 5 for the meal. Can't argue with that. Nice ales on tap too. Definitely recommend. Also last but not least, I must make mention of the most attentive and pleasant waitress who was serving us this eve.
Always welcoming, friendly and prices are good. Well set up for current rules. Always enjoy our visits
The beer range could be better but the Butty Bach we drank was in good condition and fairly priced. The food was unusually good value, I had spicy chicken filet with chips and salad and it was excellent. Well worth a visit
Went today for the carvery lunch, food was very nice, chocolate brownie was lovely, staff very friendly. would recommend.
