Amazing coast, bring Wellington boots beautiful views onto Wales and many wild birds in the area that you would now see in your garden/local park.

The only reason I'm giving \Heswall Beach\ just three stars is that calling it a beach is wildly optimistic. It is a quiet, atmospheric spot on the Dee though, and interesting to see the half overgrown remains of a promenade wall and steps, which quite possibly did once lead down to a sandy beach - perhaps a vision of the future for residents of Meols and Hoylake.an interesting place for a walk, but wellies are highly recommended!
Good spot for birdwatching and a picnic.Beach is not sand its Saltmarsh stretching almost across the Dee to Wales.
Small car park to watch the estuary and wild bird life. Not much sand .
Fair sized car park overlooking the estuary and Wales where the sun sets over the hills. Nice way to relax at the end of the Day.
