I requested a pair of Lotus 7 type Shallow wings, but wanted particular dimensions. Martin was very knowledgeable, having built his own Seven type sports car. He offered some suggestions and we arrived at the dimensions to suit my tire size. I want to say, he was quick to stay in communication with me at every step, and was patient and enthusiastic about what I wanted. This kind of personal interaction is uncommon in today’s business world. The wings were crafted and shipped on his commitment date. Delivery was within two days from his shop in the UK to my door in the USA. The fit to my tire was perfect, and the quality of the craftsmanship was excellent. The radius was uniform, and the crown was subtle, aesthetically effective. I feel like I have something very special on my Lotus Seven. You can see all of the effort that has gone into curving, rolling, and finishing these wings. They are special. Martin Batho is a seasoned craftsman in aluminum body work. It’s reassuring to know someone is continuing this traditional craft and doing justice to the art. ( and I’m just a plain old knuckle buster from South Carolina ) Cheers, Mark Chapman

I commissioned Batho Sports cars to make some front wings for my 1960s Lotus Seven. The quality and care that was taken in supplying these parts to me was faultless. I have no doubt that these are perfect replications of what Lotus would have had made for them in period. I'm sure it will not be long before I will be commissioning parts from Batho Sports cars in the future.
