Great hospitality, friendly welcoming staff. The food was reasonably priced and very good value for money. Highly recommend the pies, great pastry but more importantly full of filling. Will definitely be back here next time holidaying on the canal.

Quite a nice pub with a really nice canal side beer garden. Lots of different ales and ciders to try. The chicken korma I had was nice but not amazing and the woman behind the bar was friendly enough.

Stopped off on boat trip at lunchtime and just made it in time for food. Good service, food was great. Would have been 5 stars if the garden seating had been a bit more comfortable ! But overall very good.

Easily the least friendly pub I’ve ever visited. The bartender made us feel extremely unwelcome. Although we arrived to a half empty pub with a large table and area available (plenty for our group of 5) we were told we should go outside. We were wearing face coverings, observing all the posters and each of us sanitised on the way in. We were then glared at by locals. We won’t be coming back.

Lovely place to sit by canal and have a drink on sunny day. They do food too - but cannot conment as to what its like and cost as did not eat - quite a few people did tho, so cant be yuck!. Quite a lot of parking spots too - great for motorbikes too. Beer was reasonably priced also
