Fantastic meal. We ordered online for a 2pm takeaway pickup and the food was brought out to the car. Such an easy process and all done safely. We've loved eating here in the past and the takeaway food was of a comparable standard. Really lovely Italian food, well done Pesto it's made our day!

Second visit to this fabulous restaurant! Food is amazing and has been both times, great selection (even for vegetarians). Great service from staff and since covid-19 safety measures put in place for social distancing to make you feel secure. Wish I was more local, will miss you till next time!

We ordered food from Pesto yesterday to collect and the food was beautiful. It was easy to order and the collection was even easier. You ring when entering and they bring out your food. The hot food us in foil containers with the desserts separate. We re-heated and the food was still gorgeous.

Just had a collection from The Axe & Compass and it was unbelievably good! We had a selection of mini pizzas, standing balls, prawns on ciabatta and lamb tagliatelle and it was faultless! Would highly recommend to anyone and will definitely be eating/ordering from here more often!

Italian food served in a small plate format, pasta has very rich sauces (some oil based, others cream) so choose wisely/your favourites and balance out with grilled meat dishes or other lighter fair. Pizza was nice but I would skip this and have the other options. Tiramisu was nice but a little small and the sponges were not well soaked/weaker in coffee flavour, the natural cacao (by the taste) dusting on top tasted quite nice/robust however. If you want a good deal the lunch set menus (around 9 & 11 respectively) are a good idea.
