I am so incredibly impressed at the swim schools plan to continue lessons in September. They have provided clear guidance of new procedures that have been put in place to keep the children safe. My child can't wait to continue their lessons and I have no worries about it either. Well done Hippo Swim School!

Hippo swimming is far superior next to other local companies. As a keen swimmer myself, it was extremely important to me to find the best provider around. Hippo came recommended after I experienced poor organisation and over populated classes elsewhere. The owner Elaine is personable, a great organiser and you can tell how much she and the other instructors love swimming and children. The classes are a maximum of 6 and the younger classes have in-water support. Elaine has adapted the lessons to remain safe during covid, it has been important to her to keep the children and staff safe. The instructors are brilliant and are very encouraging. Throughout Ella's time we haven't had any instructors that aren't brilliant! My daughter absolutely loves every lesson and has come on leaps and bounds since beginning a few years ago. Thank you Elaine and the rest of the Team- especially James.
Our daughter has been attending swimming lessons since 2017. The entire teaching team are professional and very caring. Our daughter has made very good progress and really enjoys her sessions. Thank you Elaine and the swimming instructors ! :)
Elaine and the team provide a friendly and supportive environment in which the children can confidently learn how to swim. They have structured lessons of no more than 6 children to make sure that each child can progress at their own pace. Would highly reccommend.
The teaching staff are very patient and encouraging, which really helped my youngest son as he refused to get his face wet when he first started his lessons. He improved leaps and bounds after his first few lessons and is now a very confident swimmer
