Took my father's AV amplifier to them on 1st of August . Paid thirty quid for inspection. Heard nothing for 5 weeks. Phoned them and was told manufacturer was sourcing parts. Heard nothing for another 5 weeks. Phoned again and told the same thing. Eventually phoned them and said "are you going to repair the amp or not"? They then phoned a couple weeks later saying the manufacturer couldn't supply parts but a new PCB would be 280 vat! A new amp costs less than this. I picked up the amp today... in-repaired. They wouldn't refund my 30 and offered no apologies for their poor service. Avoid this company, they don't have a clue on how to run a business...

This is a Samsung official repair centre based in Banbury, so I took my TV there at the end of December 2017. They examined the set and charged 30 inspection fee. The repair was supposed to be done in about 1 week, but soon it became apparent that this was not going to happen. Initially they told me that the parts were with a courier. Another week later still the same story. In the 3rd week they then told me that the part had never been sent because Samsung had no stock. I asked them to call Samsung but they told me they only ever use email. After another two weeks (5 weeks in all) still no part had been sent through and no repair. This company also do not communicate with customers at all and when I attempted to ask questions on the phone they were very short and actually very rude. Overall very very poor and a complete waste of time. One star is way too good!
Our 3 year old Samsung developed a fault early this year, originally purchased from John Lewis. Hitech Digital took away the set and left us with a similar loan set. Our set was returned after a few weeks with the fault cleared. Recently the set developed a similar fault and Hitech Digital took away the set once again, this time leaving us with a 10 year old loan set which was in a filthy condition. After repeated calls to John Lewis and Hitech, the response was always waiting for spares from Samsung. In the end, John Lewis’s 28 day repair window was exceeded, Hitech claiming that the parts were unavailable. As a result, it cost John Lewis a replacement set. Hitech failed to collect the loan set on the agreed day,as a result I decided to return the set myself. The office was a tip! Boxes all over the place, the whole place in need of a good clear out and clean. I would not trust this company ever again, they are totally disorganised and incompetent. I will be contacting John Lewis with the recommendation that Hitech be removed from their approved repairers.
