I regularly visit Holycombe and the therapeutic value begins on the journey there, through the heart of beautiful England's countryside. Once there, I've always found it to be a peaceful, welcoming place that does me good with every visit. Recommended, without hesitation.

A very special place. Peaceful and beautiful with wildlife, woods and walks nearby as well as an excellent pub and cafe. The location with an old moat and resident geese and moorhens is quite magical . Everyone who goes there understands and respects the ‘rules’ which means the campsite remains quiet and peaceful based on trust and respect , on the edge of the village of Whichford.
Perfect place for peace and tranquility.... Fully equipped, spotlessly clean... And the warmest loo ever!
Lovely camping area with great facilities. Toilets and showers are spotless and hot water available. Inside kitchen area with fridge, freezer, stove, oven, kettle, toaster and all utensils. Also power points to charge your phone etc. Quiet, friendly atmosphere. Pub close by and nice walks. 10-15 mins drive from Moreton in the Marsh. Camp fires allowed. Kindling and wood available for a small fee on site. Highly recommend.
Well, yes it is a lovely peaceful campsite, BUT it's definatly NOT a quiet village church next door! The bells ring every 15 minuets all through the night with the full Westminster chimes. Why?? what should be a peaceful relaxing night, to have it disturbed EVERY 15 minutes in such a sudden way was horible. Especially in a tent which offers no defence against the noise. So sorry, too noisy for me, I need my sleep!!
