I bought a Cube Mountain Bike for my reluctant cycling wife at Xmas and it is absolutely brilliant. She pedals in Winter across fields with ease and all the family fight over using it. I looked carefully before spending this sort of money and found Mitch and his team really helpful and nothing is too much trouble.

As any regular or even casual cyclist will tell you, there is nothing more exhilarating in life than cycling around country lanes, coastal paths and thundering down a rocky mountain side. However, prior to the summer of 2020 I could barely walk and could only cycle a couple of miles before being in agony. At the age of only 48 and suffering from a severe condition involving a blocked aorta - I was finding it difficult to find both the mental and physical strength to maintain my health whilst waiting for a serious operation. An E-bike seemed to be the answer to help me with the hilly area where I live - but I needed help from someone who I could trust. I needed reliable advice and the knowledge to help me get onto the right bike for my needs. Someone local for continued guidance and support would also be an added bonus. That’s where Life on Wheels came in – a very apt name in my case. Mitch, who understood my needs, went the extra mile and gave me the additional time needed. I am very grateful to him as I certainly would not have got the extra help I needed from bigger cycling companies. After almost 8 months, I have now had my operation but my Cube emtb continues to help me through my recovery progress and I am now achieving over 20 mile bike rides to the Clwydian Range from my home in Holywell. The team is incredible and Jason, an experienced Mountain Biker, gives you the confidence you are receiving the right advice and service for upgrading my bike. I’m now looking forward to having my tubeless tyres fitted to reduce the risk of punctures while out in the wilderness. Many thanks to the entire team at Life on Wheels, Best Wishes, see you soon.
Absolutely brilliant, these people know bikes, 2 ebikes serviced at a reasonable cost. Great service and genuinely nice people. Recommend using these people, keep it local.
Disappointing service. I've tried to buy 2 bikes from here, both times I visited their shop I was promised a call back from their boss to discuss further, but they never call. Both bikes, total value of 2.5k now purchased elsewhere. I try my best to shop local and to avoid online shopping. Sometimes I wonder why I bother. I suspect their focus is on ebikes and they've 'ost interest in selling less expensive manual bikes.
Life on Wheels 5 star service servicing on all types of bikes from mountain bikes to racers or just your normal every day bike would highly recommend this shop or servicing on your bikes. Staff are friendly and helpful and will give good advice
