Absolutely loved it. Wind almost blew our head off but I expected that. Beautiful peaks, easy to get there and manageable climbs even for me. Dog friendly, but make sure you keep your dog on leash as there are lot of them and you don't know how they react. Consider the too. Ended up in Castleton, had some yummy chips

Linked to Mam Tor. Great place for a day out walking, only for the able bodied, lots of scrambling, paths heavily eroded and badly maintained (path to Dark Peak has all but disintegrated, all the placed stones have been washed away, slightly treacherous footing) after Mam Tor. Great scenery though, got some lovely photos. Car parking through app only, 3.60 per visit.

Stunning views, bit of a steep incline but it's soon over. Well worth it.

Get there early, car park is small, use app to pay for parking. There was a coffee van selling coffee and cakes, contactless payment available. Very nice scenic 3 hour walk along the ridge of mam tor and 3 more, good flat stones to walk on most of the way, good footwear recommended and ca n be windy so take a coat. Very good view across Castleton, Blue John Mine and castle. Gets too busy after 10am especially when you're trying to socially distance.

Enjoyable walk. Gorgeous views. Clear route to follow if you're not the best at map-reading! Minimal facilities ( no toilets)
